Research On The Application Of Su Mo In The Creation Of The Modern Landscape Painting

Su Mo is an indispensable part of "ink method" in Chinese painting.Due to the unique nature of Su Mo,when it is used in artistic creation,it will separate many impurities,and it is easy to be turbid if it is used improperly.Therefore,Su Mo was not really used and studied in ancient times.This paper starts with the characteristics of Su Mo,summarizes its development process,seeks the theoretical basis of Su Mo in the application of Chinese painting.Through the analysis of landscape painting works,taking Huang Binhong,Zhang Jie and He Jialin as examples,analyzes their works from different perspectives of theme and ink method,and summarizes the application of Su Mo in the creation of modern landscape painting.Taking Wu Shanming,Wang Duo and Lin Sanzhi as examples,analyzes the application of Su Mo in figure painting and calligraphy,and continues to expand the expression of Su Mo.Then it analyzes the unique effect of Su Mo in the use process,explores the charm of Su Mo,and summarizes the positive influence of Su Mo in the use of modern landscape painting.Finally,combined with my own creative practice,through the experiment of different auxiliary agents and paper,I understand and use Su Mo in the creation,summarize my experience of Su Mo application,explore more possibilities in the use of Su Mo and stimulate the in-depth study of modern landscape painting.
