| Tang Seng Hong Xiu Ji is the only extant Anthology of poems written by Tang monks in Song Dynasty in China.It has become an important Anthology of poems in China because of its beautiful,straight style and elegant artistic conception.This paper tries to grasp the aesthetic characteristics and connotation of Tang Seng Hong Xiu Ji from the following five aspects.First of all,based on the investigation of Li Gong’s life and friends,this paper explores Li Gong’s aesthetic tendency and the editing characteristics of Tang Seng Hong Xiu Ji.It is believed that Li Gong and Tang Seng Hong Xiu Ji have something in common in life experience,survival mode and creation.The aesthetic tendency of this poetry collection is that it is mainly based on poetry education,advocates compassion,pays attention to bitter chanting,and focuses on near style in editing and selection,with diversified themes.Secondly,Buddhist image is a more prominent type of image in Tang Seng Hong Xiu Ji.Its outstanding performance lies in the writing of Buddhist temples,Buddhist terms,Buddhist official cases and allusions,and presents the beauty of quietness,solemnity,wisdom and humor.In terms of the overall style,the poems selected in Tang Seng Hong Xiu Ji have the beauty of lightness,grandeur,elegance and life damage.Finally,the two-way construction of poetics,poetry style of painstaking chanting,Buddhism and Confucianism in the Southern Song Dynasty had an important impact on the formation of Li Gong’s aesthetic thought,which to some extent reversed the utilitarianism of poetry creation at that time,reversed the weak poetry style of the Southern Song Dynasty,and had a far-reaching impact on the development of monk poetry in the Song Dynasty and later generations. |
