Study On Traditional Chinese Culture Connotation Of "Xi Jinping:the Governance Of China"

Culture is the sign of social progress and it is also the record and embodiment of historical heritage.The extensive and profound Chinese traditional culture was formed in5000-year civilization development.For thousands of years,it has been playing a vital role in shaping Chinese national character,the cultivation of the national spirit,and the progress and development of Chinese society.This study takes the first volume of Xi Jinping:The Governance of China as the example to analyze the traditional cultural connotation characteristics and the cultural heritage significance of the past to the present by analyzing traditional cultural elements of the book statistically with aiming at exploring the significace provided by the national wisdom condensed in Chinese traditional culture of 5000years’ civilization to the multiple symbiotic world today.This thesis takes Chinese traditional cultural elements such as ancient poems,classics and idioms involved in the first volume of Xi Jinping:The Governance of China as the research object.By utilizing literature survey method,statistical method and comprehensive analysis method,the thesis comprehensively analyzes inherent meaning and special significance of this book to China and international society today.This thesis focuses on the72 chapters which quoted idioms and ancient classic poems sentences and analyzes more than300 idioms and more than 100 ancient classic poems sentences within these chapters to explore their value,contribution and significance in the inheritance of traditional Chinese cultural thought.The results show that there are more than 700 idioms and ancient classic poems sentences in the first volume totally.They are mainly from the works of ancient Chinese philosophers such as Confucianism,Taoism,Law,Mo,etc.They were adopted to explain the pursuit of harmony and peace in China since ancient times,the attitude of advocating "Harmony But Not Uniformity" in dealing with international relations and different civilizations in the world,and the principles of handling relevant affairs.Xi Jinping:The Governance of China has been translated into many languages and published in more than160 countries and regions.The contemporary value of excellent traditional cultural elements in Xi Jinping:The Governance of China can be summarized in the following aspects: people oriented political concept,ruling ideas based on virtue,the social idea of great harmony,the concept of honest and clean official system,the concept of running the country with the times.The combination of Chinese traditional cultural elements in the book seires and the development of Chinese society can enable readers at home and abroad to truly feel the wisdom and charm of China’s excellent traditional culture.
