Xi Jinping's Research On The Inheritance And Innovation Of China's Excellent Traditional Culture Under The New Situation

During the Communist Party of China (hereafter referred to as CPC) pushed forward the process of Marxism in China, how to deal with the combination between Marxism and the Chinese excellent traditional culture has always been a hot topic for academic circles. Since Communist Party of China is the Marxist political Party, constant insistence on the Marxism theory is the premise and basis for all the theories of CPC as well as the fundamental guiding ideology for the revolution, construction and reform practice of CPC. However, the nature of CPC and the concrete reality of China determine that CPC is the loyal continuator and developer of excellent Chinese traditional culture; and inheritance and developing excellent traditional Chinese culture is also the responsibility and mission undertaken by CPC members. Through the history of the Party, the process of the Chinese Communists to combine the Marxism with excellent traditional Chinese culture is a constant deepening and developing process, during which it also gradually forms the traditional culture value of CPC.Since the Nineteenth CPC National Congress, as the supremo of a new session of generation CPC central leading body, Xi Jinping not only inherits the basic principles and methods of traditional cultural value of CPC, but also proposes some new ideas and thoughts creatively. These new ideas and thoughts is the scientific interpretation for the position, effect and inner values of excellent traditional Chinese value of Xi Jinping under the new situation in China and abroad. Besides, Xi Jinping not only enriches and develops the traditional culture value of CPC from ideas and stances but also makes remarkable breakthroughs in the combination of excellent traditional Chinese culture with the concrete practice of ruling state and dealing with politics. He involves the wisdom in excellent traditional Chinese culture as thoughts of administering a country into the governing of a country. It should be noted that the inheritance and innovation of excellent traditional Chinese values of Xi Jinping lies in shaping into the contemporary Chinese value and dreams and embodying social consensus to strengthen the national cultural soft power and construct cultural power, which has important guiding significance for realizing the rejuvenation of China.This paper consists of seven chapters, which will be introduced as follows:Chapter 1 is the introduction, which manifests the reasons and significance for selecting this topic, literature review of relevant theories as well as the study thoughts, methods as well as the innovation and difficulties of the study in this paper.Chapter 2 introduces the concept definition of excellent traditional Chinese culture and the commonness with Marxism. Studying this paper should clarify the excellent traditional Chinese culture first, its differences and connections with Chinese traditional culture. To carry forward excellent traditional Chinese culture is to look into its commonness with Marxism, which is the theoretical foundation for the combination of Marxism with excellent traditional Chinese culture.Chapter 3 is to arrange the historical process of inheriting and developing excellent traditional Chinese culture during the Chinese Marxism. It analyzes and summarizes the contributions made by all the successive leaders of CPC in the inheritance and developing of excellent traditional Chinese culture from the perspective of Chairman Mao, Deng Xiaoping, Jiang Zeming and Hu Jintao respectively.Chapter 4 is to divided into two aspects. On the one hand, the authors starts from the historical background. One the other hand, the authors starts from the acknowledging source.Chapter 5 is to introduce the presentation of inheritance and innovation in Xi Jinping’s traditional culture values under new situation in China and abroad. The authors starts from the what ideas to inherit and what ideas to innovate and then makes comprehensive and careful interpretation for the traditional culture values of Xi Jinping.Chapter 6 is the application of inheritance and innovation in the managing state affairs practice of Xi Jinping. Xi Jinping combines excellent traditional Chinese values with national cultural soft power, socialism with Chinese characters, national governing system and governance ability, modernization and socialist core values, which presents the wisdom of excellent traditional Chinese values into the concrete practice of governing national affairs and plays the glamour of excellent traditional Chinese culture.Chapter 7 is to analyze the theoretical significance and practical significance of inheriting and innovating excellent traditional Chinese cultures of Xi Jinping and the enlightenments brought by the study of this problem.
