Driven by economic globalization,our country’s international status has become increasingly prominent,and foreign exchanges have become more frequent.As a global language,the education of English has also been advanced.Therefore,employers’ English requirements for early childhood education graduates have gradually increased.Although our country requires more attention to vocational education,I found that the teaching methods of some secondary vocational schools are not good.It is mainly manifested in the lack of autonomy of students and difficulty in concentration in class.These factors have led to the graduation of preschool education.The professional skills of students are not strong,and it is difficult to meet the needs of employers.As an inevitable trend of education informatization,the flipped classroom has many advantages.The pre-class preparation link and the flipping of the roles of teachers and students under this model can well improve the current problems in vocational education.However,this model mainly focuses on subjects such as mathematics,physics,and chemistry at the secondary education and higher education stages,and rarely conducts research on English subjects in the vocational education section.So I proposed a flipped classroom teaching model based on the OBE concept and applied this model to the English classroom of secondary vocational schools.This subject mainly did the following research:Firstly,I need to understand the requirements of employers for preschool graduates.This research,under the support of the OBE theory,uses the literature research method,questionnaire survey method and other research methods to explore the English requirements of kindergartens for preschool graduates,the results showed that the surveyed kindergartens value 86.67% of listening and speaking skills.So employers pay more attention to the English listening and speaking ability of graduates.Therefore,I focus on cultivating students’ abilities in this area when implementing teaching reforms in English subjects.Secondly,I have implemented teaching reform explorations in the English classroom for preschool education.This research is guided by the experimental research method,I started from practice and selected the 2019 preschool English class of Nanchong S Secondary Vocational School to carry out the teaching reform of the flipped classroom mode,and designed the teaching process with the support of the OBE theory in the teaching reform.The questionnaire survey method is used to explore students’ English learning status and classroom teaching conditions,and I choose two of the classes to do a controlled experiment to verify the advantage of this model.Before and after the teaching practice,listening and speaking ability tests were taken in these two classes,and the experimental data was processed by independent sample t-test.According to the research results,the English proficiency of the two groups was comparable before practice;after the end of the semester,there was a big gap in their listening and speaking skills,and the overall situation of the experimental class is better.It is concluded that this model can improve students’ English performance.Finally,I explored the effects of this teaching reform.I used the literature research method to sort out and summarize the topics,and integrate the dimensions and items under this model suitable for secondary vocational students;and carried out a small-scale survey in class 11;after I collected the questionnaire,I eliminated the inappropriate items through factor analysis and principal component analysis;and collected the data for the second time in the experimental class;used reliability test and validity test to form the final scale;it is distributed in class 11;the feedback data is analyzed and processed in the later stage,and a comprehensive evaluation result is obtained.The results showed that students are very satisfied with the teaching reform,and the flipped classroom teaching model has greatly cultivated students’ comprehensive abilities.By analyzing which factors have a greater impact on the results,I put forward suggestions to experts who want to carry out this teaching reform model,which can make the teaching level higher,but also promote the employment of students.
