The Ministry of Education formulated the Ten-Year Development Plan of Educational Informatization on March 13,2012,which pointed out that the key to development of educational informatization is the innovation of teaching and learning. In traditional English classroom teaching, teachers dictate most of the time, while students receive knowledge passively in the classroom,so it is difficult to improve students' interest and enthusiasm for learning. The micro-lecture-based flipped Classroom enables students to learn important and difficult points through micro-lecture videos before class, solve the problem and absorb the knowledge in the class, extend after class. Therefore, the class can be fully utilized. This empirical study mainly focuses on three questions: What is the effect of the micro-lecture-based flipped classroom on students' spoken English performance? What is students' attitude towards the micro-lecture-based flipped classroom for spoken English? What is students' attitude towards the changes occurred in teachers' role? In this empirical study, the author chose 40 students from senior accountant class 1801 and class 1802 as the subjects.Questionnaire, interview and test were treated as the instruments. After the experiment, the author used spss22.0 to comparative and analysis the data of pre-test and post-test scores and questionnaire results. The results are conducted and leads to the following findings:(1)Compared with traditional classroom teaching,In terms of grammar & vocabulary, pronunciation & intonation and students' overall spoken English level, the new approach is effective to improve students' ability to speak English. However,in terms of interactive communication, although the two groups have made significant progress, the experimental group did not show obvious advantages over the control group.(2)Students show very positive attitude towards the micro-lecture-based flipped classroom teaching.(3)Compared with traditional classroom teaching, students prefer the role of teachers in the new teaching environment. In a word, compared with the traditional classroom teaching, the micro-lecture-based flipped Classroom for Spoken English Teaching can improve students' interest and efficiency of learning, change students' learning method from "passive learning" to "active learning",and improve students' spoken English performance significantly.
