Research On Wu Yangxian

Late Qing poet Wu Yangxian(1821-1887),the first character is Mu Zhou,the more character is Mu Mo,and it is called Luru,and he is from Jiaxing,Zhejiang.The son of Wu Chunrong,the concubine of Hanlin Academy.In the second year of Xianfeng(1852),he was admitted to the Jinshi,selected the Hanlin Academy of the Hanlin Academy,and was assigned and edited by the Sanguan.Later it was re-appointed as the prefect of Yunnan Langqiong.He served as an official in Yunnan for seven years.In the second year of Tongzhi(1863),he retired and protected himself,begging for illness.After returning home,he lectured at Yuanhu Academy for 20 years.Author of "The Collections of Xiaopao’an","Poetry Theory of Xiaopao’an","Jiaxing Jinshizhi",etc.,and participated in the compilation of "Guangxu Jiaxing Mansion Chronicles".Wu Yangxian’s poems and poetic theories had a great influence in the late Qing Dynasty and were praised by people of the time.The thesis takes Wu Yangxian as the research object,sorts out and verifies his family background,life,and contacts,and focuses on his literary creation and cultural contributions,in order to show Wu Yangxian’s literary achievements and the promotion of cultural undertakings in his hometown.The first chapter introduces Wu Yangxian’s family background and life.Mainly take "Guangxu Jiaxing Mansion","Poetry Theory of Xiaopao’an","Shujuan Collection of Qing Dynasty" as references,and combine the poems in "The Collections of Xiaopao’an" to systematically sort out Wu Yangxian’s family background and life history.,And use this to analyze the influence of family culture on his literary creation.The second chapter introduces Wu Yangxian’s friendship.Wu Yangxian’s friendship and travels throughout his life,involving many characters and a wide area,are closely related to his rich life experience.A large number of poetry exchanges with family and friends in "The Collections of Xiaopao’an" records Wu Yangxian’s mental journey in different periods.Chapter Three,researches on Wu Yangxian’s collection of poems.Wu Yangxian’s poems are very rich in genre types and subject content.In the content,there are both the exposure of social reality and the excavation of inner emotions.There are both deep and desolate works and lively and clear words.In terms of the artistic characteristics of poetry,Wu Yangxian was highly praised by literati in the past for his ability to take advantage of others’ strong points,sincere affection,and melodious use of allusions.The fourth chapter researches on Wu Yangxian’s poem review "Poetry Theory of Xiaopao’an "."Poetry Theory of Xiaopao’an " is rich in content,and all poem-related information,anecdotes and words are involved.The words and poems are harmonious,and the ten volumes are like one.It has both inherited and developed to Yuan Mei’s "Poetry Theory of Suiyuan Shihua",which has high poetic and documentary value.Chapter 5 discusses Wu Yangxian’s outstanding contribution to the cultural cause of his hometown.After resigning,Wu Yangxian returned to his hometown to teach in the local academy and was committed to promoting the development of cultural undertakings in his hometown.Through the reconstruction and improvement of the official records,the compilation and compilation of poems reflecting the local customs,and the revitalization of the Yuanhu Academy,the cultural activities in the Jiaxing area have become increasingly prosperous.
