Theoretical Study On Comment Of Yixing Purple Clay Ware Art Of Qing Dynasty

The Qing Dynasty was a prosperous period for the development of Yixing purple clay art.The extensive involvement of literati and the prosperity of artistic creation brought more scholars' attention to the field of purple clay art.Books and poems with criticism began to appear in the middle period of the Ming Dynasty.Among them,Yangxian Tea Pot Series,written by Zhou Gaoqi,is the first monograph in the history of purple clay,which has guided the development of the theory of purple clay in the Qing Dynasty.By the middle and late Qing Dynasty,the purple clay monographs represented by Yangxian Famous Pottery Collections and Famous Pot Collections and Illustrations appeared one after another,and the related poems and articles were created even more.Scholars in the Qing Dynasty inherited the views of small ware preference,following ancient concept,and pursuing flawless feats in the Ming Dynasty,and formed the evaluation concept of purple clay with Pu Ya as the core.The evaluation of purple clay in the Qing Dynasty is often combined with tea things and elegant things.The content mainly involves the external factors such as materials,shapes,decorations,and internal factors such as meanings and charms of the purple clay ware.Evaluating from the external shape of the purple clay ware,the artistic conception is often higher than the ware itself.By analyzing the literature of purple clay in the Qing Dynasty,the dissertation systematically elaborated the two main methods with Conversation and Illustrated Catalog to purple clay evaluation.Yangxian Famous Pottery Collections,written by Wu Qian,uses a Conversation approach,which has created a certain integration impact,and basically includes important articles,poems and inscriptions about purple clay in the middle of Qing Dynasty and before.Illustration Catalog is one of the important forms of purple clay evaluation in the Qing Dynasty.It mainly includes three aspects such as pot-shaped drawing,shape and size introduction and appraisal and appreciation theory.The Famous Pot Collections and Illustrations is the most representative one.Based on the analysis and research of the purple clay theory of the Qing Dynasty,this dissertation summarizes five characteristics of the evaluation of the purple clay in Qing Dynasty,namely,being well made and followingancient concept,making simple but elegant,integrated charm,appreciation on eye and comment on heart,theory and amusement.Among them,Fine is the external pursuit of the utensils,Ancient is the standard put forward by the critics and the producers on the works at that time,and Pu is the core view of the purple clay evaluation in the Qing Dynasty.Ya is a higher level of literati's requirement for purple clay art.Appreciation on eye and comment on heart,theory and amusement were proposed by the Japanese scholar Ao Xuanbao.This dissertation,the purple clay evaluation of the literati in Qing Dynasty is amusing is explored according to the literatures,The favorite purple clay is worth collecting.The contemporary research on the theory of purple clay is still at a relatively primary stage.Although the number of related works and articles is growing rapidly,the research content is generally not deep enough,and there is little research in the field of purple clay evaluation.This dissertation breaks through the conventional introductory research methods and summary research methods and focus on exploring the way,style and ideological characteristics of the Qing Dynasty literati's evaluation of purple clay by the overall analysis of the literature and case studies on the works.This dissertation,the purple clay evaluation of the literati in Qing Dynasty is amusing is explored according to the literatures,which will lay the foundation for the future research on the theory of purple clay evaluation.
