The Development And Design Of Audio-visual Teaching Materials Based On The Cartoon Marshmallow And Cloud Mom

The current Chinese audio-visual and listening textbooks are basically self-edited or adapted from films and dramas in the early years.There are only a few textbooks adapted from animation,such as Happy Chinese: Intermediate and Advanced Chinese Audio-visual Listening and Speaking Course,Learning Chinese from The Animation of Big Head Son and Small Head Father,etc.,whose content can not show the new language materials with the development of contemporary Chinese society to foreign students.As a companion piece of Big Head Son and Small Head Father,with standard and interesting language,the content of cartoon Marshmallow and Cloud Mom is closely related to the real life of Chinese families.It was first published in2016,whose content is not outdated,and has a certain practicality.From many aspects,it has the feasibility and relevant conditions to be adapted as Chinese audio-visual and oral teaching materials.From the macro and micro levels,this study investigates the feasibility of adapting the cartoon Marshmallow and Cloud Mom into the Chinese audio-visual and oral teaching material.The development and design of the teaching material of it are carried out according to the compilation concepts,compilation principles and compilation steps of the Chinese audio-visual and oral teaching material.And some design samples are selected and analyzed for teaching practice and teaching effect.This article is divided into five chapters:The first chapter is the introduction,explaining the reason and research value of the topic,sorting out the previous research cases,and summarizing the contributions of the existing results and the areas for improvement.The second chapter conducts an investigation on the development of audio-visual teaching materials for the cartoon Marshmallow and Cloud Mom.At the macro level,this paper studies the conditions and advantages of its adaptation into Chinese audio-visual and oral teaching materials from the aspects of animation production,theme content and language style,etc.At the micro level,this paper examines the conditions of adapting it into Chinese audio-visual and oral textbooks from the aspects of phonetics,vocabulary,grammar,communication items,topic types and cultural factors,and what level of textbooks are suitable for adaptation.The third chapter is the key content of this paper.Based on the concept and principle of Chinese textbook compilation,this paper carries out the overall design and single detailed design of the audio-visual and oral textbook development of Marshmallow and Cloud Mom.The fourth chapter takes the detailed design of a single article as an example,carries out teaching experiments,collects teaching feedback and conducts effect analysis,and further improves the development and design of teaching materials.Chapter 5 is the conclusion of the whole study,summarizing the research process and findings of this study.
