Ambiguity is a common phenomenon in human language,and studying ambiguity can reveal the laws and characteristics of language development.Therefore,both in English and Chinese,the study of ambiguity is an important research focus and focus.The contrastive analysis on Chinese and English ambiguity can promote the understanding of the intrinsic nature of the language,help understand the characteristics of the Chinese and English languages,and promote the teaching Chinese as a second language.Linguistic circles at home and abroad have conducted exploration and analysis from different angles,and the related results have been quite fruitful.However,in the field of teaching Chinese as a second language,there is a lack of research on the contrastive analysis on Chinese-English ambiguity in combination with teaching Chinese as a second language.Therefore,on the basis of ontology research,the article from the perspective of contrastive linguistics,firstly defines ambiguity,then analyzes the types of ambiguity in the two languages,and then conducts a comparative analysis of Chinese-English ambiguity on this basis.Explore the differences and connections between them,summarize the application of ambiguity in various aspects,and finally summarize the enlightenment on the teaching of ambiguity in teaching Chinese as a second language,hoping to gain some gains in the study of ambiguity in teaching Chinese as a second language.
