Error Analysis And Teaching Strategies Of Binomial Attributive Word Order In Modern Chinese

Abstract/Summary:
Binomial attributives,as a key node connecting single attributives and multiple attributives,play a role in linking the above and below,and occupy an important position in modern Chinese grammar.When foreign students use Chinese attributives,the error rate of binomial attributive word order is also higher than that of other attributives.Therefore,this article takes binomial attributive word order as the research object,examines the binomial attributive word order errors of foreign students,distinguishes its types,analyzes the different causes of binomial attributive word order errors,and proposes targeted teaching strategies based on the causes of the errors.This paper collects 116 error corpora of binomial attributives from the HSK dynamic composition corpus of Beijing Language and Culture University.According to the syntax and error rate,the five most common types of binomial attributive word order errors are distinguished,namely: quantitative phrase,The word order error of adjectives as attributive at the same time;the word order error of subordinate terms and quantitative phrases as attributive at the same time;the word order error of subordinate terms,where adjectives are used as attributive at the same time;the word order error of adjectives and non-collateral nouns at the same time as attributive and subordination Words,demonstrative pronouns are also used as attributive word order errors.According to the different types of errors,the reasons for the above errors are summarized.They are: the flexibility of the multiple attributive word order rules of modern Chinese;the difference between the learner’s native word order and the Chinese attributive word order;lack of the grammatical points of the binomial attributive word order in the textbook;lack of Chinese communicative scene;weakening of learners’ learning motivation.Finally,the corresponding teaching countermeasures are given according to the causes of errors: adding the grammatical points of the binomial attributive word order in the HSK test syllabus and textbooks;teaching in stages from simplified to complex;targeted teaching based on error analysis;adding The communicative scene in Chinese;stimulates the learning motivation of international students.It is hoped that through the above-mentioned teaching countermeasures,the errors of the binary attributive word order of foreign students can be reduced.
