| As a country along the “Belt and Road”,Indonesia has set off an upsurge of learning Chinese with the deepening of foreign affairs,trade cooperation,and cultural exchanges between China and India.Hasanuddin University conforms to the development situation at home and abroad,and under the conditions of having a good external foundation and internal demand for "Chinese Education",it formally established the "Chinese Major" in 2018 and began to recruit students from the society.Based on this,this article combs through the literature on the current situation of Teaching Chinese in universities at home and abroad,studies the training plan of the Chinese major of Hasanuddin University,conducts a questionnaire survey of the teachers and students of the Chinese major of Hasanuddin University,and investigates the current situation of the Chinese major of Hasanuddin University in Indonesia.After research,this article found that the Chinese major of Hasanuddin University currently has relatively rich language and literature courses.Most local Chinese teachers have a master’s degree in Chinese international education and experience in studying in China.The number of enrollment has been steadily increased in the past three years.At the same time,there are the following problems:First,the training program is not clear about the training objectives,the semesters of various types of professional courses are not evenly matched,and the hours of professional courses are not evenly distributed;second,the Chinese language teachers,because the colleges and universities treat Chinese teachers The insufficiency of on-the-job security and training policies has led to excessive teacher turnover,insufficient number,and slow improvement of teaching ability;third,for learners,due to the impact of the global new crown epidemic,online teaching has caused learners to learn anxiety and improve their professional capabilities.Too slow is inconsistent with the setting of teaching goals;fourth,in terms of selection and use of teaching materials,the selection of teaching materials is single,the rich teaching resources of the Confucius Institute at Harbin University are not fully utilized,and the local Chinese teaching materials are lacking.In view of the above issues,this article proposes the following development strategies: First,the training goals in the training plan can be adjusted to adapt to the changes in the Indonesian Chinese talent gap,especially the training of local Chinese teachers;second,the Chinese language in the curriculum Professional courses appropriately reduce excessive literature and essay instruction courses,and increase the amount of Chinese language skills courses;third,it is recommended that colleges and universities increase subsidies for in-service Chinese teachers,pay attention to improving the teaching ability of Chinese teachers,and make use of the superior resources of the Confucius Institute Increase the training of local Chinese teachers,especially the courses of online teaching techniques and methods;fourth,learners make good use of the Confucius Institute and the cooperation platform with Nanchang University to improve their professional capabilities and achieve expected career plans,and continuously stimulate learning motivation,Correct learning attitude;Fifth,college administrators should pay attention to the selection and use of Chinese textbooks,formulate selection criteria,enhance professional development positioning,and cooperate with partner colleges to form a professional local textbook compilation team,and add Indonesian local Chinese textbook research and development base.In addition,it is hoped that this survey and research report will supplement the data on the status quo of Chinese majors in overseas universities and provide relevant research basis. |
