Reasearch On Huangming Xijiang Poetry Anthology

Huangming Xijiang poetry anthology is a ten volume Anthology of Jiangxi local poetry in Ming Dynasty.It was first initiated by Han Yong,the then governor of Jiangxi Province,and compiled with the participation of Han Yang,the deputy inspector general of Jiangxi Province,and Li Kui,the Shaoqing of Dali temple.There are six volumes of Jingtai poetry anthology and Hu Sijing’s Yuzhang series.As a local poetry anthology in the early Ming Dynasty,Huangming Xijiang poetry anthology contains more than 1200 poems by 89 Jiangxi Poets from Hongwu to Zhengtong.Besides Jiang you,all the poets he selected had official career experience.Most of his poems were elegant,honest,peaceful and righteous.As an anthology of poems in the early Ming Dynasty,Huangming Xijiang poetry anthology has important research significance.First,it has preserved a large number of poems of Jiangxi Poets in the early Ming Dynasty,which are almost lost.Secondly,its arrangement in time order is conducive to the study of the development history of Taige literature in the early Ming Dynasty.Thirdly,the exploration of the rules of selecting poems from anthologies can help us to find out the idea of selecting poets,which is of great benefit to the research of Han Yong and others.This paper studies Huangming Xijiang poetry anthology from four aspects.First of all,among the three editors,Han Yong is the initiator and the last editor,who is the core member.The compilation of Huangming Xijiang poetry anthology initiated by Han Yong is closely related to his friendship with Chen Pian and Li Kui.This paper makes a detailed research on Han Yong’s life,especially his experience as an official in Jiangxi.Secondly,this paper makes a corresponding research on the compilation style of Huangming Xijiang poetry anthology.Generally speaking,the compilation style is in the order of time,with people’s poems and learning styles.According to jueli,it is refined to the arrangement of poetry style,that is,first ancient poetry,then modern poetry,first metrical poetry,then quatrains,first five words,then seven words.Thirdly,through the classification of selected poems,this paper finds that there are not only Taige poems such as social poems and social poems,but also poems of seclusion and boudoir resentment outside the scope of Taige poems,which overthrows the simple definition of Huangming Xijiang poetry anthology as pure Taige poetry anthology.Finally,this paper explores the Poetics of Huangming Xijiang poetry anthology from the perspective of reason,origin and performance,and explores the Poetics of Huangming Xijiang poetry anthology and its editors’ upholding of "literature carries morality" and advocating Tang Dynasty and suppressing Song Dynasty.
