| Lv Kun,whose name is Shujian,is also called Xinwu or Xinwu.In his later years,he called himself Mr.Bao Du and Mr.Xing Ting.A native of Ningling County,Guide Mansion,Henan.Lv Kun was a well-known thinker,statesman and philosopher in the middle and late Ming Dynasty.He was hailed as one of the three great sages during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty.His internal moral training and external good governance of officials are highly respected by the people of the time,especially his moral training is quite distinctive.This article takes Lv Kun’s cultivation skills as the research focus,and explores the theoretical basis,basic content and main characteristics of his cultivation skills.Lv Kun’s moral training is based on his theory of Li and qi and xinxing.On the theory of Li and Qi,Lv Kun advocated that Li and Qi have one source,and that Qi is Li,and the two are integral and inseparable.In the theory of mind and nature,Lv Kun believes that human beings are born with the nature of righteousness and temperament,and at the same time,there is a distinction between human mind and Dao mind.The theory of xinxing and the theory of liqi are consistent.Lv Kun constructed a set of moral cultivation techniques centered on intentions,and filled the heart with purely benevolent principles.He believed that the key to moral cultivation was to turn people’s hearts into Taoism,and to change the nature of temperament into the nature of justice.Including self-cultivation methods of self-cultivation,self-respect,and inspection.The self-cultivation of calmness is to achieve a calm mind,but also to achieve a clear and vigilant heart.Respect for respect is to explain respect from the perspective of exegesis,and respect is not casual and careless.Checking and inspection means to constantly examine and reflect on oneself,to check whether the things in one’s heart are pure good and no evil.Lv Kun’s moral training advocates gradual and orderly progress and cannot be eager to achieve success,and his training is closely connected with the ontology of the universe.It can be said that the ontology is the effort.At the same time,his training is characterized by focusing on practice,emphasizing practicality,and opposing Empty talk. |
