Telling the Chinese story well,conveying the voice of China,and letting the world see a comprehensive and real China are the missions given to every teacher of Chinese as a foreign language by the times.Cultural vocabularies carry the rich cultural connotation of the country and nation,and they compose a major part of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.In actual teaching activities,the approaches of carrying out targeted teaching and integrating cultural diffusion and vocabulary teaching are all issues requiring intensive research.This article takes two sets of foreign Chinese textbooks,Development Chinese and Experience Chinese as the research objects,and adopts a combination of document analysis,data statistics and questionnaire survey methods to deeply analyze the teaching activities of cultural vocabulary in the advanced course,focusing on the following four aspects are elaborated: The first part defines the definition and classification of cultural vocabulary.It selects Zhang Gaoxiang’s definition of cultural vocabulary to divide cultural vocabulary into16 sub-categories.At present,the cultural vocabulary in advanced Chinese teaching materials for foreigners has the following characteristics: the first is that there is a large number of cultural vocabularies in various categories;the second is the high proportion of national custom vocabulary;the third is the lack of emerging Internet cultural vocabulary;the fourth is that the number of cultural vocabulary is related to text topics.The second part is a questionnaire survey on the teaching of cultural vocabulary by teachers of Chinese as a foreign language.Mainly introduce the basic situation of the survey,including the survey object,survey purpose and survey content,and analyze the survey results.The third part starts from the two aspects of textbook compilation and teacher teaching,and puts forward the current problems in cultural vocabulary teaching based on the previous analysis.The fourth part puts forward corresponding solutions from the aspects of textbook compilation and teacher teaching in combination with its own teaching practice,and strives to further improve the content of foreign cultural vocabulary teaching,which is the focus of this article. |
