Combining Depict With Conception And Using Painting To Express Emotions,a Study Of Delacroix’s Artistic Ideas

This paper is a study of the artistic concept of Eugene Delacroix(1798～1863),a representative of French romantic painting in the 19 th century.Based on the background of the artist’s time,this paper sums up part of the causes of the formation of his artistic concept from his frequent social activities by consulting relevant literature.Secondly,it discusses Delacroix’s painting language from the perspective of art specialty,analyzes the emotional,composition and color expression of Delacroix’s painting works,and card the internal rhythm,rhythm meaning and the style of his works,so as to systematically study the style characteristics of painter’s painting language.Thirdly,according to the common comparative study of Romanticism in different countries and regions in the same period of romanticism,this paper compares and analyzes the romanticism paintings led by painters and the romanticism music in the same period,and then extracts some common artistic features through the artistic comments on the painter’s public development form.Combined with some relevant literature and books,and demonstrates them with these features.When Delacroix contacted with contemporary musicians or writers,his thoughts was exactly influenced by different subjects of romanticism in the same era and showed some changes.Finally,according to these bases,this paper abstracts Delacroix’s artistic concepts and summarizes its influence on later generations,and expounds its influence on the author’s own painting creation practice by taking himself as an example.This paper is divided into five parts,the first part is the introduction of the literature review and expound the current representative literature about Delacroix and romanticism painting,and analyzed the main content,innovation and practical significance of this research paper briefly.The second part is according to the Delacroix’s whole life,the background of himself and the painter’s daily extensive society to sum up the formation of his artistic ideas.The third part is to classify and discuss the painters’ painting works,and sort out its inner meaning,emotion and expressive force of his works from the aspects of color,composition and modeling,to research the artist how to use his artistic ideas to paint.The fourth part reviews the painters’ artistic opinions from his artistic comments published in the magazines,and explains his ideas influenced by different artists in the same period of time.The fifth part is based on the previous parts to discuss the painters’ artistic ideas.This part summarizes the value of Delacroix’s art concepts and its influences on the later painters,and expounds the ideas and contents of the author’s painting and practice.
