At the end of the Ming Dynasty and the beginning of the Qing Dynasty,the country collapsed,and Chinese civilization was facing great changes.People in this period were faced with major changes in their lives,and they had to re-choose their roles.Wang Chongjian,a scholar in the Ming and Qing Dynasties,also faced the same historical situation.Wang Chongjian was born in the thirtieth year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty.A career in politics has always been his dream,however,he had barely passed the imperial examinations when history changed.The country was at war,Dramatic fate pushed him to the corner of history.Countries are fighting,so he had to take the whole family south.When the city of Nanjing surrenders,they wandered in the South.He was very conflicted and finally in a very helpless mood.He chose to join the court and became an official.After that,he had a smooth career,within ten years,he was promoted to the Minister of Rites.Wang Chongjian has been writing poetry all his life,who wrote a great deal of poetries.Poetic works are collected in Qingxiang Tang Poetry Anthology,with his poetic works in the capital of poetry occupied a place.Poetry reached a mature stage in the Qing Dynasty,Poets can skillfully use various forms to create poems,to express the complex emotions of the poet.The content of his poems is closely related to the background of The Times.We can see his thinking and understanding of The Times.The content of his poems is close to everyday life.It has formed its own unique poetic style.We can see the change in the style of poetry before and after.The mournful sound of the end of the Ming Dynasty gradually changed into the temple sound of the prosperous Qing Dynasty.It is a dynamic process from exile in the early period to official position later,his mindset changed as well.The analysis of Wang Chongjian’s mental change in his poetry creation after entering the qing dynasty can provide a model for us to understand the mental change of the Erchen in the early Qing dynasty.
