A Historical Investigation On The Work Of The CPC’s Leading The United Front Of Literature And Art In The Kuomintang-controlled Areas During The Comprehensive Anti-Japanese War

During the comprehensive anti-Japanese war,the CPC’s literary and art United front work in the Kuomintang-controlled areas was not only the result of the development of revolutionary reality,but also the realistic demand of the CPC’s own development.During the eight-year comprehensive anti-Japanese war,the CPC made great efforts to combine the United front with literature and art.On the basis of respecting the law of development of literature and art,it innovated the working strategies and methods of the United front of literature and art according to the revolutionary development situation and changes in the literary and art environment,so that the work of the United front of literature and art in the Kuomintang-controlled areas did not deviate from the general principles and policies,but also had its own characteristics.Facts have also proved that the creative development of the United front of literature and art by the CPC not only promotes the victory of the Anti-Japanese War and the development of the CPC itself,but also obtains its own theoretical construction and development in practice,and further unites the people with new theories to fight for the Chinese revolution and construction.Therefore,it has important guiding function to us to execute the United front of literature and art in the new era and give full play to the role of uniting people’s hearts,pooling strength and value orientation by systematically investigating the work of the United front of literature and art in the Kuomintang-controlled areas during the comprehensive anti-Japanese War.This article mainly conducts research from five parts:The first part is the introduction,which mainly explains the reason and significance of the topic selection,analyzes the current research situation at home and abroad,and expounds the main research ideas,research methods,research difficulties and core concepts of this paper.The second part major analyzes the reality demands and theoretical basis of the CPC to carry out the United front work of literature and art in the Kuomintang-controlled areas during the comprehensive anti-Japanese war.The third part is an exposition of the historical process of the CPC’s literary and art United front work in the Kuomintang-controlled areas during the comprehensive anti-Japanese war.The research idea of this part is to summarize and analyze the specific historical facts of the United front work of literature and art carried out by the CPC in the Kuomintang-controlled areas based on the sequence of historical events,and to divide this historical process into three parts,namely,the initial development stage(1937-1938),the comprehensive development stage(1938-1940)and the difficult forward stage(1941-1945)Among them,the historical background of each stage,the concrete historical facts of carrying out the work and the results produced are combed and discussed in detail.The fourth part is an exposition of the historical characteristics of the CPC’s literary and art United front work in the Kuomintang-controlled areas during the comprehensive anti-Japanese war.By combing and studying the historical facts of the CPC’s literary and art United front work in the Kuomintang-controlled areas,this paper summarizes the following characteristics: the unity of carrying forward the patriotic spirit and striving for people’s democracy,the unity of policy principles and strategic flexibility,and the unity of open front and hidden front.The fifth part is the exposition of the Contemporary Enlightenment of the CPC’s literary and artistic united front work in the Kuomintang ruled area during the period of the all-round Anti-Japanese war.The CPC carried out the literature and art United Front Work in the Kuomintang controlled area,which not only promoted the victory of the Anti-Japanese War,but also provided us with important experience and Enlightenment for us to continue to carry out the literature and art United Front in the new era,mainly including the following aspects: strengthening Party leadership to ensure the correct direction of literary and artistic united front work;carrying forward the value leading role of the literature and art flagmen in the united front of literature and art;keep close to the theme of the times and promote the united front of literature and art to keep abreast of the times.
