Music Analysis And Singing Exploration Of The Art Song "Bid Farewell To Dong Da"

Since the introduction of art songs into China in the early 20 th century,a large number of excellent songs have emerged,including Chinese ancient poetry art songs with unique Chinese cultural connotation and aesthetic connotation created by composers using Chinese ancient poetry as material and combining with the essence of national music.And the ancient poetry art songs have now become a popular type of songs in the vocal music field,which appear frequently in the loud music competitions at home and abroad and in the teaching of colleges and universities,and even become a must sing repertoire,which shows the importance of the ancient poetry art songs.During the undergraduate period,the author studied the national singing method,sang a lot of ancient poetry art songs,also quite like this kind of songs,also found that most of the ancient poetry singers use the national singing method plus a small amount of opera singing method.During the postgraduate period,the author learned the singing skills of bel canto,hoping to deduce the ancient poetry art songs through the singing skills of bel canto,and believe that it can have the combined characteristics different from the national singing.Therefore,this paper takes teacher Zhao Jiping’s "farewell to Dong Da" as an example,analyzes the author of lyrics and music,works overview,music ontology,and combines with the author’s own singing experience,researches singing from the aspects of breath processing,sound use,language expression and stage performance,and compares some differences between national and bel canto singing skills,so as to provide reference for the author’s Graduation Concert Sing this song to provide reference.The first chapter of this article is an overview of the works of farewell to Dong Da,which gives a brief introduction to the songs and poems from the aspects of the songwriter and the background of poetry creation.The second chapter is the music analysis of farewell to Dong Da,which is mainly divided into two parts.The first part is the analysis of musical form structure,and the second part is the analysis of the combination of musical melody character and accompaniment texture.The third chapter is the main part of the thesis: the research on the singing of farewell to Dong Da,mainly from three aspects: the treatment of breath,the treatment of articulation and rhyme,the treatment of sound position,the expression of emotion and the performance of stage.Hope that through this paper,I sing this song in the Graduation Concert has a certain theoretical basis,also hope to give vocal music fans for this song to provide some reference value.
