As one of the pioneers and founders of romantic music in the 19th century,Franz Schubert played a connecting role in the transition from classicism to Romanticism.Schubert insisted on his creation in his short life,leaving a large number of musical heritages for later generations,which plays an important role in the history of western music.As we all know,Schubert’s music is famous for its singing melody.For example,the melody of song not only exists in his artistic songs,but also in his piano works.When Schubert creates piano works,he plays his best singing melody to the extreme.For example,the melody of songs makes the music emotion of the works more direct to the people’s heart,and his improvisation is a typical representative.This paper takes Schubert’s piano work "impromptu D.946" as the analysis object,mainly from the following three chapters: the first chapter is mainly about Schubert’s life experience and main works,exploring the origin and development of the impromptu genre,as well as the creation background and musical characteristics of "impromptu D.946";the second chapter is from the form and tonality of the work "impromptu" D.The third chapter is to analyze the improvisation D.946 through the singing of melody,the change of timbre and intensity,the use of pedal and other three aspects,combined with their own playing experience and professional knowledge.
