Contemporary Research On The Form Language Of Hand-made Paper And Copper Engraving

As one of the four great inventions in ancient times,China is the birthplace of traditional papermaking,with a long history and a profound influence on later generations.However,with the development of science and technology and the progress of social life,many traditional papermaking techniques have been gradually submerged in the long river of history.Our generation should work harder to inherit and develop them,explore and improve the application of traditional papermaking techniques to modern paintings,and broaden the history.The intellectual side of traditional culture has collided with sparks of new culture and art.Pulp materials have unique characteristics,first of all social attributes such as recyclability and environmental protection.These social attributes of pulp materials can increase the subsidiary connotation of the work.The expression language is rich and malleable,and can be in flat,three-dimensional,spatial installation and other forms.The research and development of hand-made paper is combined with paper pulp modeling in copper engraving printing to form a novel artistic appearance and create a contemporary form of copper engraving.The central idea of this article is the mutual switching of pulp from the carrier to the supported body,and the use of the form language of the composition to present it in the picture.Papermaking by hand is a collective project of Professor Xie Qiu’s team.On this basis,innovation and research in application are carried out.Formal language is a commonly used art language in design.Abstractism summarizes it and extends it to the field of painting,becoming an important contemporary art expression language,exploring the language of forming form and applying it to the creation and printing of etchings.There are three chapters in this article.The first chapter describes the method of making the color innovation process of hand-made paper,and the charm of using hand-made paper to print the copper engravings to create "move";the second chapter mainly elaborates on the form language in the creation of copper engravings.The use of the Sun at Nine O’clock and the Reconstruction of Memory;Chapter Three,the practice of pulp materials and form language in contemporary copperplate engraving creation,discusses the trinity creation method,namely papermaking,respectively,from the post-epidemic flower room,Plate-making,and printing methods for copper engraving creation and perception;pulp material and copper engraving in the creation of "Me and My Motherland" integration and expansion.
