Russia is one of China’s strategic partners.The cooperation between China and Russia in the new era is constantly deepening and the relations between two countries are getting closer.With the continuous development of the friendly relations between China and Russia,more and more Russian students have begun to learn Chinese.As the geographic center of Russia,the city of Novosibirsk has more and more exchanges with China.In order to improve the promotion of Chinese in Novosibirsk and the cooperation between Novosibirsk universities and Chinese universities,this research investigated and analyzed the current situation of Chinese teaching in the four state universities in Novosibirsk,especially the current situation of oral Chinese teaching.The author hopes that the results of this research can provide some consultation for future Chinese language learners and teachers in Russia.This dissertation uses three research methods(questionnaire method,interview method and statistical analysis method).The first part of this dissertation describes the significance of the research topic,the summary of domestic and foreign references,research methods and the features of the research.The second part introduces the general situation of Chinese education in universities in Novosibirsk,including the basic situation of Chinese teaching in Novosibirsk and Novosibirsk University teaching system and management.The third part uses Google questionnaire to analyze the results of the survey of university students in Novosibirsk.In the fourth part,based on the data analysis results,found that the students in Novosibirsk had lack of motivation to learn oral Chinese,Chinese teaching curriculum is too simple,teaching methods are not diverse,the selection of teaching materials lack in practicality,the universities lack teachers and multimedia network resources usage is not sufficient.In the fifth part,the author puts forward some practical suggestions.This dissertation finds that there is a shortage of oral Chinese teachers.More Chinese teachers are needed to help students learn oral Chinese because Chinese teachers from China are more professional in teaching oral Chinese.The study also found that Russian university students in Novosibirsk have relatively low level of satisfaction with Chinese textbooks.Therefore,in order for learners to obtain better results in the process of oral Chinese learning,it is necessary to choose oral Chinese teaching materials more carefully and pay attention to the practicality of oral Chinese teaching materials.The survey also found that the oral Chinese teaching methods used in the universities are too boring and monotonous.They lack the discussion method and multimedia applications that students like.These factors result in a lack of motivation for students to improve their oral Chinese level.As for students,the survey found that students rarely use various social platforms to learn oral Chinese and lack practical skills in oral Chinese. |
