| Liu Zigu(1901-1986),a famous Chinese painter,was famous in the painting world in the 1930 s.He,together with Xu Beihong and Zhang Shuqi,was known as the "Three Outstanding Artists in Jinling".Liu Zigu has been fond of painting since he was a child.He has all kinds of characters,landscapes,flowers and birds.He is excellent in poetry,calligraphy and painting.However,due to historical reasons,Willow Valley was gradually forgotten from the 1950 s to the 1980 s,and it was not until a decade after his death that Willow Valley gradually came into public view.In the 20 th century,China experienced three historical changes,which brought about changes in people’s understanding,thinking and life,and revived traditional Chinese culture and art.The 20 th century Chinese painting shows the characteristics of the alternation of the old and the new,the fusion of the Chinese and the Western,and excessive changes,reflecting the diversified pattern of colorful.As a painter of The Times,Liu Zigu inherits the tradition on the one hand,while exploring on the other.Although his life and art road have experienced ups and downs,his love for painting has never diminished.His flower-and-bird paintings are close to his heart and the natural expression of his life emotion.The study of his flower-and-bird paintings is not only a discussion of his painting techniques,but also a reflection on his artistic concept and life perception.Based on Liuzigu’s flower-and-bird paintings,this paper firstly analyzes Liuzigu’s life experience through observation,analysis and combing,which can be divided into three periods: young artist becomes famous in the painting world;The situation is changeable through wind and frost;Green mountains are not old and green pines are green.And through Liuzi Valley’s time background and personal experience to analyze the influence on the formation of his painting style.Secondly,the paper interprets the expression of Liuzigu’s flower and bird paintings in terms of their painting language,which includes: the conception of image--both form and spirit,and the clarification of images;Ink and brush--ink and brush are good enough to be original;Color-absorption and fusion,collection of the long color analysis.Thirdly,it explores the artistic characteristics and aesthetic pursuit of Willow Valley,and analyzes the truth of scenery,the truth of emotion and the truth of principle respectively.Dare to explore;The analysis is carried out in three aspects,such as elegance and popular taste.Finally,explore the inspiration of Liuzigu painting to the painting world. |
