This paper takes Liudong Pipa Song as the research object,adopts the method of combining field investigation,comparative research and cultural interpretation,and builds the basic procedure of Liudong Pipa Song,which is dependent on the line song sitting at night,through mutual verification of documentary materials and oral history.On this basis,in order to solve the problem of the lack of overall research on the six-hole pipa song in academic circles,the author made a systematic analysis of its musical form,and compared the current six-hole pipa song with the traditional form to analyze the six-hole pipa song.The changes in the music culture of pipa songs and the reasons for the changes in its music culture are explained.The traditional six-hole pipa song is sung in the song sitting in the night.The song sitting in the night is the basic way for young men and women of the Dong ethnic group to make friends and fall in love.It has certain procedures and rules.After constructing the basic procedure of singing and sitting in the night,the author systematically analyzes the singing characteristics,singing characteristics,musical characteristics and inheritance of Pipa songs.Of course,with the development of society,the marriage and love custom of singing songs and sitting at night has gradually disappeared,and six-hole pipa songs have survived in modern society in other forms.Through the author’s comparison,I found that the current performance of the six-hole pipa song has been innovative,the singing form has changed,the accompaniment instrument has been improved,the music has been enriched and the place and method of inheritance have also changed.The main reasons for these changes are changes in music concepts and aesthetic concepts,changes in lifestyles,the rise of folk tourism and the evolution of cultural functions of music.
