Zhu Xi,an important Neo Confucianist and educator in the Southern Song Dynasty,wrote a large number of correspondence,and his writing time was long and the objects involved many important people at that time.In the past,most of the researches on Zhu Xi focused on his education and academic thought,and the first impression of the world when he was mentioned could not escape the stereotype of "preserving the natural principle and destroying the human desire"(cun tian li,mie ren yu).From the correspondence,a style with two functions of information transmission and emotional exchange,it is conducive to restore a more real image of Zhu Xi.This paper takes Zhu Xi’s correspondence as the research object,straightens out the general situation of Zhu Xi’s correspondence and analyzes the writing characteristics of his correspondence,then analyzes performance and reasons of his enthusiasm to participate in politics,explores the reasons why he chose to resign despite his strong political enthusiasm,and how to realize his personal ideal in this case.Finally,it studies the content and emotion of his interpersonal communication through correspondence.The first chapter straightens out the general situation of Zhu Xi’s correspondence,including the compilation and Gathering of Zhu Xi’s correspondence,the content and thought characteristics,the contact figures of the correspondence,the number and the Writing time of correspondence.The second chapter analyzes the writing characteristics of Zhu Xi’s correspondence from two aspects--universality and particularity.From the aspect of universality,the paper analyzes the Neo Confucianism content and the style of Neo Confucianism.From the aspect of particularity,analyzes the rhetoric,discussion,lyric and language in Zhu Xi’s correspondence.The third chapter analyzes the reasons of Zhu Xi’s resignation,and combined with the background of the times to interpret the way to realize his political ambition in the case of resignation.The fourth chapter analyzes how Zhu Xi participated in politics through correspondence when he was a local official and in the period of no political real power.The fifth chapter focuses on the interpersonal communication in Zhu Xi’s correspondence.From the perspective of society and family,mainly discussed the communication with disciples,family members and friends. |
