| There are abundant Object Color words in both Chinese and Persian languages.Most of the Object color words in Chinese and Persian come from plants,animals,jewelry,metals or minerals,food,supplies,people and human bodies,names of natural phenomena,etc.The comparative study of the actual color words in Chinese and Persian not only helps to reveal the commonality and national characteristics of the language,but also helps to improve cross-cultural communication skills.At the same time,teaching Chinese as a foreign language and translating between Chinese and Persian and Persian publications Compilation and so on have certain practical significance.This thesis makes a comparative and systematic comparative analysis of98 Chinese Object color words and 141 Persian Object color words.Mainly through the comparison of the source,color family,word formation,grammatical features and syntactic functions of the Object color words in the two languages,the corresponding relationship between the Object color words in the two languages of Chinese and Persian is analyzed.The results implied that in terms of morphological characteristics,the word formation types of Chinese Object color words were all compound types,with only a formal one in terms of structure type;however,the Persian Object color words were mainly derived from the word formation type.The structure type was mostly additive,the root and suffix.The Object color words in Chinese were found to have the parts of speech of nouns and state adjectives,while Persian had the parts of speech of nouns and relative adjectives.In terms of syntactic function,findings show that Chinese Objec color words could be used as subject,predicate,and object,as well as attributive and complement in a sentence;however,Persian Objec color words was revealed to only be used as subject,predicate,object and attributive,and cannot be used as complement.In terms of semantics,due to the similarities between Chinese culture and Persian culture in some respects,under certain circumstances,some color words were found to have similarities in cultural meanings.At the same time,due to the differences between Chinese and Persian cultures,the cultural meanings of color words in the two languages were also discovered to be different.Specific color words were found to represent not only the attributes of a certain objective material,but sometimes also specific national cultures. |
