A Preliminary Analysis Of Various Expression Of Printmaking

Imprints,also known as traces,are Chinese words that are referring to the perceptible shadows or imprints after things pass.There are many living beings in the world.The emergence of human beings represents life and creation.Various traces,in vary degrees,will be left in people’s lives,ranging from the footprints by running through the sand,to the traces of ships passing the water,etc.Of course,in the world of art,all artists will leave their unique marks in their creative process.Different types of art and different media materials will eventually have different impression effects.These texture effects are all manifestations of the artist’s innermost feelings and subjective emotions.Whenever audiences appreciate art works,those wanton brushstrokes,brilliant and colourful paints,bright or deserted,those undulating textures,those wonderful paper textures,etc.,make the viewers can’t help but being trapped in the whirlpool of artistic beauty.In the process,I feel the mood of the creators,as if seeing the gorgeous garden in the hearts of the artists,at that moment it seems that you are two as one.It is precisely because of these traces that we have to sigh the unique charm of art and the ingenuity of the artist.Due to the differences in the language and types of art,both Chinese painting and oil painting are called "direct" art.In my essay,what I want to discuss is the beauty and multiple expressions of imprint art.First of all,I quote the concept of publishing painting.Printmaking is "indirect" art.All indirect art methods use different materials as the medium.They are the types of art that exist under the imprint art.The types of prints are distinguished by the texture of the plates and the medium used.The most well-known types of prints are woodblock prints,copper prints,lithographs,silk screen prints,and other emerging prints(comprehensive prints,blown paper prints,Photoshop prints,etc.).The picture impressions of each version have different styles and characteristics.This paper starts from traditional prints and then extends to the beauty of impressions contained in the emerging art industry such as installation art,and finally digs out the deep meaning of impression art to everyone.The thesis starts with the four great inventions of ancient times-printing.The invention of printing and the deepening of industrialization have important and far-reaching influence on the development of printmaking.Of course,it also explains that our vision of printmaking should not be limited.It needs to be understood that printmaking is a kind of imprint art and belongs to it.Then I explored the relationship between prints and imprints.How did the artist show the beauty of the artistic conception under the image imprints,and discussed the unique charm of several major editions of art language from the aspects of colour,line,block,etc.,and finally from my own experiences and understanding to summarize multiple ways to express the artistic beauty of imprints.
