A Study Of Modal Particles In Yanshan Dialect

In Chinese dialects,there are a large number of modal particles with complex usage,and self-contained systems in various local dialects.Therefore,the research work of single-point dialect modal particles is very arduous and necessary."铅山"is pronounced"Yánshān"but not"Qiānshān".Dialect modal particles have their own characteristics,but scholars’research on Yanshan dialect is scarce.Therefore,this article takes Yanshan dialect’s modal particles as the research object,and makes a detailed description of the meaning and joint use of Yanshan dialect’s modal particles,and compares and analyzes them with Mandarin,to find out the differences and commonalities of them,in order to highlight The characteristics of modal particles in Yanshan dialect.Through this research,I hope to provide reference for the follow-up study on modal particles and grammar of Yanshan dialect.The thesis is divided into five parts:The first part: Introduction.Mainly introduce the general situation of human geography of Yanshan County;general situation of Yanshan County dialect;the research history and current situation of modal particles in Mandarin,Chinese dialect and Gan dialect;the research history and current situation of modal particles in Yanshan dialect and Yanshan dialect;explain the research’s object,method and meaning;explain the corpus source and writing style of this article.The second part: The classification and description of modal particles in Yanshan dialect.According to the point of view of Xiaofan Li,this paper divides Yanshan dialect’s modal particles into mood particles,modal particles and interrogative particles.And the modal meaning of these modal particles is described in detail one by one.The third part: The level and joint use of modal particles in Yanshan dialect.The phenomenon of continuous use of modal particles in Yanshan dialect is rich.First,the modal particles in Yanshan dialect are divided into four levels: the first level is "个";the second level is "咾";the third level is "不";the fourth level is "啊" "诶" "哎" "哦" "啋" "(?)" and "嚯".The phenomenon of continuous use is mainly two-layer continuous use,three-layer continuous use and four-layer continuous use.Some of the modal particles of the first and fourth levels,the second and fourth levels,and the third and fourth levels are equivalent to the cophonetic modal particles in Yanshan dialect.Part Four: A Comparative Study of Modal Particles in Yanshan Dialect and Mandarin.It mainly compares the modal particles in Yanshan dialect and Mandarin from three aspects:phonetics,combination levels,and modal meaning,and finds out the commonalities and differences.Part Five: Conclusion.This part summarizes the following characteristics of modal particles in Yanshan dialect: First,there are many phonetic variants and many co-syllable modal particles.Second,the usage is intricate and complicated.One modal particle can express multiple tones,and the same mood can also be expressed by different modal particles.Third,the phenomenon of continuous use is very common and Distinct.
