From Landscape To Spectacle

Under the great influence of occidental creation and theories on landscape and spectacle,China’s contemporary landscape photography and spectacle photography have been shaped.On the contrary,the influence of Chinese traditional culture on the cognition and creation of landscape has gradually declined.Based on the analysis and identification of the relevant concept and theory of landscape and spectacle under the occidental cultural context,this paper combines the representative landscape photography works to explore the transformation on content,form,aesthetic interest and creation way of China’s current landscape photography.What’s more,the spectacle photography is placed in the Chinese specific social and cultural context to research its origin and development and to reveal the process that it mixes with Chinese specific cultural context.
