A Study Of The Zhangs’ Family Literature In Pucheng Of Song Dynasty

The Pucheng Zhangs was a famous family in the song dynasty.During the more than one hundred and fifty years from kaibao to xuanhe,the zhangs of pucheng had two number one scholars,two prime ministers of the two dynasties,thirty-four jinshi,and they enjoyed a relatively prominent political position in the song dynasty.At the same time,the pucheng zhang family is famous for its achievements in literature,classics,painting and calligraphy.Like Zhang Dexiang,Zhang Deyi,Zhang Min,Zhang Wangzhi,Zhang Heng,Zhang Jie,Zhang Bingwen,Zhang Fu,Zhang Xian have done more in terms of poetry articles.Their literary creation played an important role in promoting the development of literature in song dynasty.The Pucheng Zhangs was not only a prominent official family but also an important literary family in the song dynasty.This paper aims to study Zhangs’ family literati and their literary creation in combination with the social and cultural background of the song dynasty.This paper is divided into five parts: first,it discusses the development of Pucheng Zhang’s family from his entry into min to his becoming one of the "four jia nationality" in pucheng.Second,from the perspective of understanding people and discussing the world,this paper discusses the prime minister Zhang Dexiang of renzong dynasty.His poems are plain and natural,which is the same with his simple and honest personality.It is the representative of the poets in the early song dynasty who are eager to break away from the cage of "Tang style" and try and explore the "plain" poetic style in the early Song dynasty.The third is to analyze the neo-confucianism thought of Zhang Dexiang’s nephew Zhang Wangzhi.Zhang Wangzhi was the forerunner of Fujian neo-confucianism,whose thoughts were based on mencius,good in nature,and his life’s duty was to advocate Taoism,which laid the foundation for the development of neo-confucianism in song dynasty together with Ou Yangxiu,Chen Xiang and other famous scholars of neo-confucianism.The fourth is to discuss the life and friendship of the younger brother of Zhang Dexiang — Zhang Min,he is a man of unrelenting character and good at making friends with others.He is known for his political achievements and his poems in the literary world.He has literary responsory with famous literary figures such as Fan Zhongyan,Ou Yangxiu,Sima Guang,Mei Yaochen and Zeng Gong.Finally,the author classifies the literary creation of the Zhangs in Pucheng and summarizes the characteristics of their literary creation.The poems of zhang family can be divided into five categories: landscape poems,inscription poems,farewell poems,gift poems and discipline poems.The prose is mainly composed of preface and postscript,recording style and letter writing.Zhang Jie and Zhang Liangneng’s Ci works are also thoughtful.These literary creations are not only rich in content,but also in the theme of innovation and artistic techniques have considerable literary value,is an important part of the song dynasty literature.
