A Survey Of The Vocabulary Of The Pucheng Dialect In Shaanxi

The paper takes Pucheng dialect vocabulary in the Guanzhong region of Shaanxi province as the research object,and investigated some aspects of Pucheng dialect vocabulary,such as the way of word formation,word-formation motivation,euphemism,part of ancient words,and etc.The body of the article content is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction.First of all,for the Pucheng area of geography,history and regional culture,it summarizes introduction the relevant content.Secondly,according to the language atlas of China,on the division of Chinese dialects,the article aims to find position of Pucheng dialect area and where it belongs to.And the article is based on the differences of the characteristics of internal Pucheng dialect to divide the area briefly.Thirdly,the article briefly combed and summarized the Chinese dialects,the Guanzhong dialect,the research status of Pucheng dialect,respectively.Then the article elucidated the guidance of the theories of this paper,which are structural linguistics,cognitive linguistics,cultures,and etc,and the basic research methods and ideas.Then,there is an introduction for the process of pronunciation and vocabulary survey in pronunciation partners.Finally,on the basis of field investigation,the article sums up the system of consonants,vowels and tones of Pucheng dialect,and we found that Pucheng dialect owns twenty-seven consonants,thirty-nine vowels,and four pronuciation words.On this basis,the article makes a brief description to the outstanding characteristic of sound,rhyme,regulating system.The second part analyzes the Pucheng dialect word formation.This part is divided into four categories,including single morpheme words,compound words and three_character phrases and four-character phrases.The part of single morpheme words includes single syllable single morpheme word and syllable single morpheme word,and is analyzed on the basis of compared with mandarin.The aim is to find that corresponding the words in mandarin,one-syllable single morpheme word in Pucheng dialect can be divided into the partial formal,additive and superimposed devices.Compound words part,according to the composition of the relations among morphemes,is divided into the compound,additional and overlapping.At the same time,Pucheng dialect words has several features:compound words,partial formal,joint type and the svo type in Pucheng dialect account for a high proportion,subject-predicate form and complement type less;Today mandarin subject-predicate type compound word part of speech refers to the part of speech more words,and Pucheng dialect is the part of the subject-predicate type compound words for body parts of speech;Compared with the corresponding Chinese vocabulary,Pucheng dialect joint type compound is with high redundancy.Pucheng dialect has a lot of three-character phrases and four-character phrases,which are smantic solidification and rich in expression.In this paper,we will give examples and analyzes them from the aspects of the internal structure,syntactic function,vocabulary color,and etc.The third part discusses the Pucheng dialect words of word formation.First of all,the concept of word formation is analyzed and defined.Second,with the British scholar Ullman points,it will be divided into classes,and is based on "Voice" and"morphological motivation" and "semantic",and described and expounded the formation reasons of Pucheng dialect words,combining the relevant theories of cognitive linguistics.The fourth part focuses on more features of euphemism in Pucheng dialect vocabulary,respectively from the physical condition,weddings,appellation and privacy.The four aspects to the close ties between language and regional culture as the breakthrough point,analysis of euphemism in Pucheng dialect is discussed.And taking language and regional culture as the breakthrough point and discusses analysis of euphemism in Pucheng dialect.The fifth part is the explanations of words,and make researches to the ten ancient words of Pucheng dialect,including "Sang","Liao" "broken" and "rainbow","at first","snake",,skull","night","Fried water".
