As a treasure of the Chinese nation,paintings on opera themes have become an important content of expression in painting creation.The Peking Opera San Cha Kou has become a well-known martial arts opera through its humorous plot setting.With its "dumb opera" characteristics,the "reading and singing" of traditional operas has given way to the dynamic modeling of martial arts performances,and has been influenced by many modern painters.Favor,artists of all ages have constructed paintings on the subject of San Cha Kou.Through the convention from the stylized expression of opera to the transformation of painting styles,this article takes the historical perspective as the cut-in,focusing on San Cha Kou by contemporary Chinese painters such as Guan Liang and Lin Fengmian,and two contemporary printmakers including Guang Jun and Yang Feng.research content.Combining with the combing and analysis of the paintings on the subject of San Cha Kou,a multi-faceted study of the relationship between concepts and the times in painting creation has been carried out.Finally,combined with the re-understanding of creative practice,in order to explore the inheritance and innovation of contemporary printmaking.
