| Online teaching,as an emergency measure in the epidemic crisis,has become a favorable move for the development of TCSOL combined with Internet education.As designers and organizers of online teaching,teachers play an important role in carrying out online education.In the face of online teaching,teachers should take the initiative to follow the trend,adapt to the changes,and improve their adaptability.This paper used a questionnaire survey to investigate and study the online teaching adaptation of 108 novice Chinese teachers who participated in Tangfeng Chinese Program,aiming to comprehensively and timely reflect the adaptation and difficulties of novice teachers in online teaching during the epidemic,to understand their requirements,and to put forward corresponding suggestions from three aspects of university,teaching platform and individual teacher.Research showed that novice Chinese teachers were generally well-adapted to online teaching,but there were also some adaptive problems.For example,they had difficulties in phonetics and cultural teaching,interaction between teacher-student,cross-cultural communication,cross-media teaching,and self-quarantined anxiety.They also hoped for the increase of foreign language courses and the training programs on basic online teaching to improve their adaptability to online teaching.Regarding the common adaptation difficulties and demands of novice teachers in online teaching,this paper proposes suggestions in the following three aspects.Colleges should optimize the curriculum,strengthen college-enterprise cooperation,and support students in both teaching and life;education platforms should improve service training,increase lectures of experienced teachers,and promote experience exchange;novice teachers should make preparations for online teaching,improve professionalism,self-reflection and conduct reflective teaching. |
