Research On The Image Presentation Of Music Character Documentary

With the progress of society and the change of audiences’ aesthetic concepts,music character documentaries have increasingly become an important part of the creation of diversified subjects in documentaries.Generally speaking,music character documentaries can record the development history of music in a specific period and reflect the music phenomenon in a specific social stage through the performance of specific music characters.Objectively speaking,as a type of subject matter of documentaries,musical character documentaries can,to a certain extent,expand the field of documentary creation practice,broaden the perspective of artistic creation,and help promote the benign development of documentaries,therefore,the study of video presentation of musical character documentaries has certain value.After years of theoretical investigation and practical exploration,the quality and quantity of music character documentaries have been greatly improved,and in the process of development,unique thematic connotations and video styles have gradually formed.However,at present,there are relatively few studies on the video presentation of music character documentaries in China,and most of them are based on individual cases but lack of systematic research.Therefore,it is of practical significance to study and reflect on the video presentation of music character documentaries in the context of the overall creation situation nowadays.In this paper,we focus on domestic and international documentaries about music characters,and combine my graduation work "Okawa African Drum" to conduct an in-depth study on video presentation.Firstly,on the basis of the concept of music character documentary,this paper summarizes and composes the development overview and character presentation of music character documentary;secondly,this paper elaborates the theme expression of music character documentary from three aspects: music and life,music and emotion,and music and society;finally,this paper starts writing from two levels: auditory language and visual language,and explores the video presentation of music character documentary.Finally,this paper explores the video presentation of music character documentaries from two levels: auditory language and visual language.
