A Probe Into The Creation Of Public Welfare Documentary Films From The Perspective Of Humanistic Psychology Research

Humanistic psychology,the third force of psychology,has a profound influence in this field.Apart from its wide utilization in other disciplines such as pedagogy and medicine,humanistic psychology plays an important role in film and television creation.As one of character documentaries,public welfare character documentary mainly takes those who engage in public welfare activities as the main record objects because of their healthy and positive mind,and their contribution to the society.Based on humanistic psychology theories that are of significance to the creation of public welfare documentaries,namely "Hierarchy of Needs Theory","Self-actualization Theory" and "Peak Experience",the creation of public welfare documentaries is analyzed.Firstly,the theoretical content of humanistic psychology is summarized to give the followed demonstration support.Secondly,this paper follows the from-theory-to-creation step to analyzes characters in according to theories as well as this process.Finally,as the recipients of documentaries,the audience is also taken into account in the process of creation.It is indispensable to analyze the audience’s psychology with humanistic psychology theories.
