The Phonetic Research Of Baode Dialect In Shanxi Province

Baode is located on the Loess Plateau in the northwest of Shanxi Province and belongs to Xinzhou City,Shanxi Province.According to the Atlas of Chinese Language(Second Edition),Baode dialect belongs to the Wutai film of Jin dialect.According to the local people’s sense of language,it can be divided into two dialect small films: Beixiang small film and Nantou small film.The dialect of New market Community in Dongguan Town,Baode County investigated in this article belongs to the small piece of Beixiang,which is called Baode dialect here.This article takes the phonetics of Baode dialect as the research object,comprehensively uses description,synchronic comparison and diachronic comparison,etc.,trying to fully and accurately reflect the phonetic features of Baode dialect and its phonetic characteristics.The full text is divided into five chapters:The first chapter is the introduction.It mainly introduces Baode County’s geographical population profile,historical evolution,Baode dialect profile,Shanxi dialect phonetic research review,Baode dialect research review,the significance of the topic,research methods,source of materials,explanation of the speaker,and transcription symbols.The second chapter is the description of the phonetic system of Baode dialect.It mainly describes the phonological changes of Baode dialect,such as consonant tones,consonant tones,continuous tone sandhi,Erhua rhyme,Rusheng Shuhua and Shusheng promoted.The third chapter is the comparison between Baode dialect and Mandarin.Including the law of initial correspondence,final correspondence law and tone correspondence law.The fourth chapter is the comparison between Baode dialect and ancient phonology.Including the corresponding relationship between the middle ancient initials and the Baode initials,the corresponding relationship between the ancient vowels and the Baode vowels,the correspondence between the ancient tones and the Baode vowels,the correspondence between the Baode initials and the ancient initials,and the correspondence between the Baode vowels and the ancient vowels.The fifth chapter is the list of homonyms in Baode dialect.It is compiled from 3,553 commonly used words in Baode dialects surveyed according to the "Dialect Survey Word List".
