Semantic prosody is based on real language materials and is an important concept derived from corpus linguistics.It has important significance in exploring the semantic features of words and conveying the speaker’s pragmatic functions.At present,most of the research on semantic prosody in my country is concentrated in the field of English teaching,and the number of research results on semantic prosody centered on Chinese is relatively small.At the same time,in the process of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,we found that foreign students have confused use of "Formation" words,and the current academic research on such words is still insufficient.Therefore,from the perspective of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,this article uses a combination of qualitative and quantitative semantic prosody research methods based on confusable word discrimination and word collocation and other related theories.The semantic rhyme analysis of "confusing words" is carried out,and the reasons for the errors of foreign students and the teaching strategies of Chinese as a foreign language are explored,with a view to enriching the research on the semantic rhyme of "Formation" words and identifying and collocation of Confusing Words of "Formation".The research provides a new perspective,and provides new ideas and new methods for the compilation of foreign Chinese dictionaries and vocabulary teaching.First of all,this article conducts a comprehensive survey of the wrong example sentences of "Formation" words in the HSK dynamic composition corpus of Beijing Language and Culture University,and finds that the most common error of international students is the confusion between words.After that,using the method of combining absolute frequency and relative frequency,the three confusing word pairs with the highest overall degree of confusion were counted: "become ? regard as","form ? cause","formSecondly,in order to study the semantic characteristics of words,this article uses the online corpus retrieval tool Sketch Engine developed by Adam Kilgarriff of the University of Brighton in the UK as the research tool,and selects Chinese Giga Word 2 Corpus: Mainland(covering corpus205,031,379)and Beijing Language and Culture University Corpus(BCC)and Peking University Corpus(CCL)are used as corpus sources.In terms of research methods,this article selects Word Sketch and Word Sketch Difference in Sketch Engine to describe and compare easily confused words,in order to explore the semantic and rhyme characteristics of easily confused words and the two.In terms of research content,this paper adopts the extended meaning unit(EUM)semantic prosody research model,comprehensively using collocation,class connection,semantic selection trend and semantic prosody as the main components of the largest path research method,from lexical,syntactic,Semantic,pragmatic and other perspectives explore the semantic and prosody characteristics of "Formation" words.Finally,through research and analysis,this paper obtains the semantic prosody characteristics of Confusing Words of "Formation" in the extended meaning unit: "Form" is the most collocation with attribute type words,and has a neutral and positive semantic prosody;"Cause" is related to things."Being" has the most collocations with positive attribute and "People" words,and has the most positive semantic rhyme;"Regard as" has the most? become",and analyzed the three pairs one by one.The error characteristics of easily confused words have found that the confusion of “Formation”words is mostly manifested in the improper collocation of predicates and adverbs.This indicates that in order to solve the problems of foreign students,it is necessary to understand the collocation types,semantic characteristics and language of easily confused words.Use categories to conduct a comprehensive investigation.Finally,the author determined the four words"Form","Cause","Become" and "Regard as" as the research objects of the semantic rhyme of this article.collocations with "People" and general term words,and has a neutral meaning.Semantic rhyme.In addition,through the pairwise comparison of confused word pairs,it is concluded that "Form" has a stronger procedural semantics;"Become" has a stronger resultant semantics;"Cause" rarely represents a process,and its resultant semantics is stronger;"Regard as" Only means the result,and its resultant semantics is the strongest.Based on the research results of semantic prosody,this article analyzes the reasons for the errors caused by foreign students,puts forward the principles that should be followed in the teaching of semantic prosody of vocabulary,and through the design of "Form" and "Cause" semantic prosody teaching programs and the discrimination between the two The program provides some new ideas for teaching Chinese as a foreign language.
