The Practice Report On 《The 2020 Government Work Report》 From The Perspective Of Translation Skopostheory

Translation is not just simply converting one language directly into another language,but also based on a specific cultural background,adopting corresponding translation strategies and methods,so that readers can understand its content without barriers.This kind of communicative activity plays an important role in the political,economic,and cultural exchanges of various ethnic groups from beginning to end.As a form of translation,interpreting plays an irreplaceable role in people-to-people and country-to-country communication due to the remarkable characteristics of on-Site translation.Since the reform and opening up in 1978,my country has followed the trend of opening up to the outside world and actively promoted exchanges with countries around the world in political,economic,cultural,and human resources.Nowadays,with the wave of globalization and the continuous deepening of reform and opening up,my country’s comprehensive national strength has increased significantly,exchanges with the world have become increasingly close,and the demand for interpretation work has become increasingly significant.This article selects the first part "Review of 2019 and this year" and the second part "This year’s development goals and the overall deployment of the next phase of work" in the video of "Government Work Report 2020" as the basis,and conducts consecutive interpretation under the guidance of translation skopostheory practice.This translation practice report is divided into 4 parts.The first part of the introduction explains the purpose and significance of the topic selection of this report;the second part provides an overview of the content,guiding theory,and interpretation process of the "Government Work Report 2020";the third part analyzes the interpretation of the same type of political materials before translation Practice analysis,accumulate and prepare relevant professional vocabulary;the fourth part analyzes the application of Skopos theory,from the translation of specific words and sentences;the fifth part analyzes the practice process,summarizes experience,and guides future interpretation work and Translation practice of the same type of political texts.
