A Study Of The Book Of Songs By Hu Wenying

In the middle period of the Qing Dynasty,scholars were all concerned with "Puxue",and the study of Confucian classics was the backbone of their learning,so the whole academic circle was permeated with the trend of thinking of focusing on Confucian classics and governing Confucian classics,and Hu Wenying’s The Book of Songs Fengyuan was a Confucian classics work produced under this background.As a person of Wu,Hu Wenying was first influenced by the puerianism,and his book of poems was also a product of the trend of thought of Qianjia.Hu wenying’s "the book of songs" is full of rich qianjia-jia-plain learning atmosphere both in text annotation and in thought connotation,hu wenying pays attention to textual research,and also to speculative thinking,and pays attention to multi-dimensional and multi-angle annotation of "the book of songs".The article is divided into five parts: The first part introduces the life of Hu Wenying and the background of the book of Songs Fengyuan.Through the textual research of Hu Wenying’s family background and social relations,we can further understand Hu Wenying’s character and philosophy,which also lays the foundation for the following research of The Book of Songs on the Yuan.On the background of the book,according to hu wenying’s life and the time of its completion,it is concluded that the book was influenced not only by the thought of qian jia,but also by the wu school and changzhou school which came into being in jiangsu province.The second part sorts out the version style of The Book of Songs Feng Yuan,and studies the features of the annotation of The Book of Songs Feng Yuan from three aspects: "learning the ancient classics,seeking the original source","exquisite writing and famous objects",and "supplementing the survey with the attached examination".The third part mainly studies the poetic methods of Fengyuan in The Book of Songs,and discusses them respectively from three aspects: "to prove the poem by history","to talk about the poem by bixing" and "to draw on the theories of the poem by various scholars".The fourth part focuses on explaining the thoughts of Confucian classics contained in The Book of Songs.Hu Wenying always adhered to the traditional view of poetry teaching when he annotated The Book of Songs on the Yuan,and the important thoughts of Confucian classics,such as "the change of the King of Wen","the gentle and honest style","the combination of the Han and Song Dynasties,and the combination of ancient and modern times",permeated through his text.The fifth part summarizes the achievements and shortcomings of The Book of Songs Fengyuan.
