Latin dance,one of the two major dance departments of sports dance,has always been loved by the masses for its fierce competitive competitions and standardized teaching routines.In recent years,with the development of cultural diversification,Chinese and foreign Latin dances have gradually emerged with performance,expressive,narrative and other forms.Each work takes the story as the main line and uses Latin dance movements to achieve emotional expression.Complete the image portrayal of people or things.The author believes that whether the audience can accurately receive the thoughts that the choreographer or dancer wants to convey when watching,not only requires the work to have superb technique and gorgeous dancing posture,but also requires the work to have a certain social significance,and this meaning The manifestation of is manifested through the symbolic nature of dance language.Since Saussure was proposed by Saussure,modern semiotics has been continuously studied and explored by scholars,citing dialectics,and a large number of semiotics and semiotics-related issues have emerged,from the beginning of the positioning of symbols to the meaning of symbols.Nowadays,semiotics is developing rapidly in China,and scholars from different disciplines have opened up new frontiers for semiotic research.From the perspective of semiotics,this article conducts a practical research on the Latin dance work "Sunset Homecoming",using the process of extracting and integrating symbols in Latin dance works to sort out,through the prologue,the first act"Homesickness",and the second act " "Hometown" and "Angelica" in three acts to condense the deep-level symbolic meaning of the work.This article discusses from the following aspects: through the selection of the text of the work,the symbolic meaning of the dance movements,the emotional expression of the dance beauty,and the research on the composition of the performance,the inner meaning of the symbol of "Sun Twilight Homecoming" is extended.The author uses metaphorical text narrative,symbolic dance movement expression,and psychological structural methods to form the semiotic system of the work "Return to Home at Sunset",and uses related semiotics theories to explain and analyze its phenomenon.The author hopes that through the selected perspective of this article,I will contribute to the related theoretical research of Latin dance semiotics and provide theoretical and practical basis.
