| The development of media not only reshapes people’s communication mode,but also imperceptibly affects the communication psychology of the masses.Sharing and following has become the normal issue of interpersonal communication today.More and more people are accustomed to social interaction on the Internet,Therefore,personal images have gradually come into the public eye,promoting the integration of individual space and public space which makes the trend of eliminating the boundary between the two.In this process,the public value of personal images has gradually emerged.With the coming of the video era,the operation of shooting equipment and editing software has become more convenient,so that the threshold for the public to carry out video recording activities is gradually lowered,and everyone can shoot videos by electronic equipment to become video recorders and communicators.In this process,the Vlog form has emerged at the historic moment.The Vlog form adhering to the principle of authenticity has the attribute of documentary and highlights the public value of personal images.However,when the Vlog form is combined with the documentary,a new conflict arises between the Vlog’s subjectivity point of view and the documentary’s objectivity principle,making the Vlog Micro-documentaries produce a new bias compared with the normative documentaries.Therefore,this paper focuses on the communication bias of Vlog micro-documentary to explore how personal images can play their value better in the public space.The study is based on the communication bias theory of media environment school.In the third part,it explains from the five aspects: the communicator,communication object,communication content,communication channels and communication effect,so as to analyze the communication characteristics of Vlog micro-documentary compared to the normative documentary,and come up with the bias characteristics of Vlog micro-documentary in the fourth part,which are specific in the follow points: The communication subjects have the bias of personalizing;the communication objects reflect the bias of circle oping;the communication contents present the bias of routinization;the communication channels tend to have the bias of time and space;and the communication effects tend to have the bias of interaction.The influence of biased development on Vlog micro-documentary are: The independent expression of creators has been strengthened;the boundary of objective documentary is increasingly blurred;the audience segmentation has been further strengthened;creators pay more attention to the feedback from the audience;the expression of daily life tends to use images;Real-life experience is diverted to virtual feelings;the communication time has the characteristic of penetration;the spreading space of the communication is expanded;The interactive role of the platform is strengthened;and the flattening interactive mode appears.Transferring the authority to the public domain through personal space,the Vlog micro-documentary has realized the closer connection between personal life and public life.In order to promote the balanced development of Vlog Micro-documentary,pointing at the influence of the bias of Vlog Micro-documentary,this paper comes up with some suggestions in the fifth part: In the process of communication,Vlog Micro-documentary should pay attention to the balance between self-expression and objective record,between audience preference and subject creation,between realistic feeling and virtual experience,between time fragmentation and spatial expansion,and between channel diversity and same frequency interaction,etc.With the mature development of media means and the arrival of the 5G network era,the multiple integration of self and others,individuals and the public,reality and virtual is bound to build a more diversified and more complex society of information.The author believes that the value of personal images represented by Vlog Micro-documentary will be more prominent in the future development. |
