Research On Dynamic Illustration Design Of Shadow Puppetry In Southern Liaoning From The Perspective Of Intangible Cultural Heritage

Shadow puppetry in southern Liaoning is an ancient traditional opera art,which was introduced from the Luanzhou area of Hebei province in the Dynasties of Ming and Qing,and combined with the folk customs,folk tradition,local dialect and music in southern Liaoning to form the shadow puppetry art with unique characteristics of southern Liaoning,containing the crystallization of hundreds of years of labor and wisdom of the people in southern Liaoning,reposing people ’ s expectations of a better life in the future.However,with the prevalence of mass media,people have entered the era of information explosion,with more convenient channels for receiving information and more diversified forms of entertainment,the ancient form of performance has been unable to meet the spiritual and cultural needs of people in the fast-paced life.In order to protect and inherit this ancient and charming art in a better way,it is necessary to record,inherit and apply shadow puppetry in southern Liaoning with the help of digital technology.Because of its properties of intuitionism,entertaining and multi-dimensional narrativity,dynamic illustration is becoming more and more popular in today’s society,and it is one of the main ways to obtain information in the Internet age.In addition,the dynamic illustration adds the elements of sound and plot to its image,it can interpret this ancient art in a more comprehensive and multi-dimensional way and avoid the shortcomings of traditional shadow puppetry performance,so as to gain a larger audience market and let people known and re-understand the artistic charm of shadow puppetry in southern Liaoning.In order to design dynamic illustrations which are more in line with the characteristics of shadow puppetry art in southern Liaoning,using the methods of participatory design and semi-structured interviews to communicate with the shadow puppet inheritor,extracting the typical design elements of shadow puppetry in southern Liaoning;using the methods of literature reading and comparative study to analyze the feasibility of digital protection,active inheritance and digital dissemination of shadow puppetry in southern Liaoning by using dynamic illustration.Combining the design elements of shadow puppetry in southern Liaoning with the design principles of dynamic illustration to summarize a set of graphic design language and dynamic design language of shadow puppetry in southern Liaoning in dynamic illustration.At last,carrying out the design practice under the guidance of the theory:taking children aged between 12 and 15 as the main audience,adapting the classic shadow puppetry drama Madame White Snake from a child’s perspective and creating a group of dynamic illustrations of shadow puppetry in southern Liaoning with the theme of White Snake · Continuing the Predestined Relationship,the feasibility of design theory is verified in practice,which provides a new idea and method for digital protection and inheritance of shadow puppetry in southern Liaoning.
