Music Study On Chinese Shadow Puppetry Of Shanxi Houma

The Chinese nation has a long history and rich cultural heritage,and Shanxi,as one of its birthplace,has also been given the reputation of "the cradle of Chinese civilization".In this historical and cultural background,gave birth to a long,rich cultural connotation,colorful Shanxi folk music.The opera is the most important part of Shanxi music.Shadow play is a music form of drama.Shanxi shadow puppetry is divided into two parts: north road shadow puppetry and south road shadow puppetry.South road shadow puppetry and "Shanxi Houma shadow puppetry" the most influential,Shanxi Province is a typical representative of the intangible cultural heritage."Shanxi Houma shadow puppetry" was introduced into houma from Huayin,Shanxi province during the reign of emperor guangxu of the qing dynasty.The research results of this paper are mainly obtained through field investigation and data collection.In the process of paper writing,I read relevant works,journals,papers,etc.to sort out and study them.I went to Houma of Shanxi Province for field research,interviews and recordings,and collected the most authentic first-hand materials.Combining theempirical and speculative methods,combining the existing data of predecessors with the content of my own practical investigation,I will conduct the writing research of this paper.This paper is divided into four chapters.The introduction explains the purpose,significance,research status,content and innovation of this thesis.The first chapter is the overview of Houma shadow puppetry.It expounds the formation history of Houma shadow puppetry,sorts out the development of Houma shadow puppetry and the composition of the performers of Houma shadow puppetry.The second chapter is the music form of Houma shadow play,mainly from the board structure,singing melody,mode characteristics,lyrics structure,language characteristics,accompaniment,repertoire overview and other aspects.The third chapter is the analysis of Houma shadow play music works,taking Houma shadow play a representative work "snow falls thick and thick" as an example,from the introduction of the plot and music works analysis to discuss.The fourth chapter is about the thinking of Houma shadow puppetry,discusses the development status of Houma shadow puppetry and some problems,and puts forward some feasible measures and Suggestions for the protection and development of Houma shadow puppetry.
