A Study Of Zen Aesthetics Thought In Chinese Surrealist Oil Painting

Since the introduction of modern western cultural and artistic theories into China,many changes have taken place in literature,painting,music,drama and other fields.Artists are eager to seek art forms to express their inner feelings,which makes surrealism enter their field of vision.Domestic artists take the essence and discard the dross,interweave Chinese traditional culture with western art theories,and create a series of excellent surrealist works.Zen conveys Chinese people’s thoughts on "the relationship between man and the world","the way people see the world" and other issues.It is a interrogation of people’s real inner world.Chinese surrealist oil painting and Zen aesthetics thought have obvious commonalities.Both of them seek inwardly,try to face the world with the truest consciousness,break through the boundaries of time and space,get rid of all fetters,and pursue spiritual freedom and liberation.The article first discusses the main content of Zen aesthetics thought and its influence on the art field,points out its indispensable position in the field of Chinese culture and art,and then discusses the development course of surrealism after it was introduced into China.Through the above exploration,this paper focuses on the embodiment of Zen aesthetic thought in Chinese surrealist oil painting,and makes an in-depth study of the "mindfulness" and "transcendence of time and space" contained in Chinese surrealist oil painting from the aspects of oil painting creation methods and painting languages.This paper starts with the research content from the points,focuses on the depth of the research,through the analysis of the Zen aesthetic thought contained in Chinese surrealist oil painting,enlighten my creative thinking and guide my creative practice.
