In recent years,due to the increasingly frequent cultural exchanges between China and Japan,many excellent Japanese literary works have been introduced to China,and "Miracles of the Namiya General Store" is a typical representative among them.Therefore,the author tentatively selected the first two chapters for in-depth research.Under the guidance of the skopos theory of functional translation theory,attempts to compare the two translations of the novel on the market in terms of vocabulary and sentence translation,using skopos rule,fidelity rule and coherence rule as the evaluation criteria.Specific research methods include case analysis method and comparative study.First,through advanced research,a deep understanding of the concept of Skopos theory,and clarify the application value of the theory and its guiding significance for this translation practice;second,through comparative study,this paper analyzes several cases in the translation,summarizes the reasons for choosing different translation strategies in different versions,and tries to explore the applicability of translation methods such as adding,subtracting and adjusting word order;finally,summarize the gains and conclusions in this translation practice report,and propose the skopos theory of for literary translation has important guiding significance.At present,the research on "Miracles of the Namiya General Store" is mostly focused on the literary value,while the research on its translation is relatively small.Therefore,this report attempts to use the skopos theory to compare multiple cases in the translation,hoping to provide some new ideas for the study of this literary work,and it can also contribute to the skopos theory.The application in Japanese-Chinese translation provides a little new direction. |
