Self-disclosure refers to the process of disclosing personal information to the target person and being willing to sincerely share their feelings,secrets and ideas with others.The willingness to share personal thoughts and feelings with others has an important impact on people’s mental health.Self-disclosure has increasingly become a hot topic for scholars at home and abroad.Previous studies have proved that self-disclosure affects individual peer relationship,and peer relationship has a significant predictive effect on loneliness.Many studies have also proved that self-disclosure has a significant predictive effect on loneliness,but the relationship between then is unknown.Many researchers believe that individuals lack the ability to exchange information with others are the main causes of loneliness.Therefore,this study combines self-disclosure,peer relationship and loneliness to explore the relationship among then variables.This study combines self-disclosure,peer relationship and loneliness,takes 12-15-year-old teenagers as the research object,explores the characteristics of teenagers’individual self-disclosure,takes peer relationship as the intermediary variable,and further explores the relationship between self-disclosure and loneliness;Group counseling was used to intervene adolescents’ self-disclosure,and the intervention method was used to verify the mediation model.This study is divided into two parts:firstly,830 middle school students from a city in Gansu Province and a city in Shandong Province were selected to carry out questionnaire survey to explore the relationship among the three variables of teenagers’individual self-disclosure,peer relationship and loneliness;secondly,group psychological counseling scheme was designed and its effectiveness was verified.Group psychological counseling was used to improve the quality of teenagers’ self-disclosure,then improving peer relationship and reducing loneliness.A total of 40 adolescents from a middle school in Northwest China were selected as the research objects and randomly divided into experimental group(n=20)and control group(n=20).Before the experiment,all the subjects were given pre-test,and the experimental group was given group psychological counseling intervention once a week,eight times in total.The control group did not do any operation,and then all the subjects were given post-test.According to the results of study 1 and Study 2,the following conclusions are drawn1.Adolescents’ self-disclosure affects peer relationship and loneliness.2.Group counseling can significantly improve adolescents’ self-disclosure level,improve their peer relationship and reduce their loneliness level. |
