| During the development of Korean film industry for a century,it underwent suppression from Japanese imperialism and severe censorship by military regime.Until the 1980 s,with the advancement of the democratization of Korean society,new generation of film talents have grown up rapidly,who infused fresh force into the development of Korean film industry.The fast-rising Korean film industry is impartible with Korean filmmakers’ continuous exploration and thoughtful spirit.Korean director Bong Joon-ho is one of the representative figures.The film "Memories of Murder" directed by Bong Joon-ho was put on screen in South Korea in 2003,which marks his embarkment on the journey to Hollywood.In 2019,his film"Parasite" was screened,which won Palme d’Or Best Picture at the 72 nd Cannes Film Festival and won best picture for the "92nd Academy Awards due to a unique perspective,brilliant narrative and brilliant theme.His films with commercial value also have artistic value.In this paper,with the issue of "how to balance commercial and artistic in Bong Joonho’s films",the author tries to analyze the film creation of director Bong Joonho according to the related theories of "film semiotics" and investigate the connotation behind the artistic creation of the Korean director Bong Joon’s artistic creation,thereby providing thoughts for the development of China’s film industry.The introduction part will mainly introduce the background of the subject,research significance,and current research status,and then presents the basic structure of the paper,and clarifies the research methods,difficulties and innovation points.In the first chapter,the author mainly introduces the related concepts of "film semiotics" theory,the background,development and dissemination process of the discipline.Then,the paper studies the significance of Korean director Bong Joon-ho’s films based on "film semiotics" theory to lay theoretical foundation for the study of Bong Joon-ho and its film works.In the second chapter,the author mainly sorts out the personal experience,social background,background,process and achievements of Korean director Bong Joon-ho’s film creation.Then,this chapter summarizes the elements of the Korean director Bong Joon-ho’s creation style from the development of Korean film industry and related materials of his film works.In chapter three,taking Bong Joon-ho’s film works as symbolic texts through the research methods of film semiotics,the author discusses the image symbols in his films such as character symbols,scene symbols,sound symbols,and tries to excavate the profound connotation of his film works.In chapter four,with Korean director Bong Joonho’s film works as "intertextual texts of social order",the author combines his film works with the current situation of Korean society,and discusses the cultural connotation,practical significance behind his works and the reference significance for the development of Chinese film industry. |
