An Analysis Of The Composing Techniques Of The Tone Poem "Three Friends In Cold Weather: Pine Tree,Bamboo And Plum Blossom"

The musical poem "three friends in a cold year-song,Zhu and Mei" is a very famous national orchestral music in the mature period of Gu Guanren’s creation.The theme of this work comes from the image of "three friends in winter" in traditional culture,pine,bamboo and plum.These three kinds of plants have always been the objects of singing in traditional culture,which are intended to express aspirations and feelings.Most of all,they are used to symbolize the noble spirit of literati.Gu Guanren,with his years of experience and exquisite creative skills in creating national orchestral music,vividly displays the artistic conception and charm of pine,bamboo and plum themes with the genre of national orchestral music,which provides a reference for the creation of national orchestral music to endow the works with distinctive national characteristics and integrate into the traditional aesthetic charm.In the musical poem "three friends in a cold year:pine,bamboo and plum",the composer created their own music themes according to their respective personality characteristics.Through their respective theme melody,the composer showed the unique style and temperament of pine,bamboo and plum,and gave them different music images.Through the flexible use of harmony,orchestration and other creative techniques,the composer has fully developed the music,further sublimated the charm and bearing contained in pine,bamboo and plum,as if presenting a volume of ink painting with artistic conception.This paper focuses on the analysis of the music noumenon of this work,and then from the music noumenon,to explore the beauty of artistic conception given by the composer in the creation of this work.
