On The Narration Of Secular Desires And Its Transcendence In Bi Feiyu’s Novels

As soon as Bi Feiyu appeared in the early 1990 s,he attracted attention.His works are characterized by the excavation and reflection of history and culture,and the inquiry of human nature and desire.Through his swaying language,he has formed a strong personal style.Among them,exploring the nature of human desire is an important motif in Bi Feiyu’s novels.This "desire writing" also found rich soil and nutrients in the commercial society after the 1990 s.Therefore,this paper intends to start from the creation track of Bi Feiyu’s novels,through close reading of the text,sort out the power desire,material desire and lust reflected in the novels,and explore the desire writing in Bi Feiyu’s novels,as well as the transcendence of desire,so as to have a more comprehensive carding and grasp of Bi Feiyu’s creative characteristics and ideological changes.This paper is divided into three parts: introduction,text and conclusion.The introduction introduces Bi Feiyu’s creation and research status,puts forward the rationality of studying Bi Feiyu’s novels from the perspective of "desire writing",and defines the related concepts.The text is divided into three chapters.The first chapter combs the origin of desire writing in Bi Feiyu’s novels,focusing on the historical origin of desire writing in modern literature,the era background of desire writing in new period literature,and Bi Feiyu’s childhood experience.The second chapter discusses the desire writing in Bi Feiyu’s novels,including three sections: power desire,material desire and lust.Specifically,it combs the power desire writing in Bi Feiyu’s novels from the perspective of cognitive change of power and the influence of power on people.It combs the carnival material desire writing in Bi Feiyu’s novels in the new era of economic and social background,which is summarized by the complete liberation and wanton indulgence of lust concept Finally,on this basis,it discusses the relationship between lust,power desire and material desire,and demonstrates the nature of human desire implied in Bi Feiyu’s novels.The third chapter discusses Bi Feiyu’s Transcendence of the human nature view of desire,that is,he no longer only pays attention to man’s internal infinite desire and tension,but pays attention to the external real social problems.Human nature is not defined as individual "desire",but is considered as social relations.Therefore,this chapter specifically discusses Bi Feiyu’s attention to three kinds of social problems in the writing of transcending desire: the disappearance of traditional "home" caused by the rise of modern city and economic society,the children’s problems caused by the current school education,and the vulnerable groups represented by the disabled.In the epilogue,Bi Feiyu is put into the group of "late generation" writers again,summarizing the uniqueness of desire writing in the novel,pointing out that his novel writing has changed from focusing and desire writing to surpassing desire writing,which shows that he has formed a new outlook on human nature and the world,thus obtaining a deeper and more accurate concern for the world.The study of his creation track can help us to recognize the times we live in and better imagine the future.
