A Study Of Chongren Zhang’s Watercolor Still Life Paintings And The Influence On My Writing

Mr.Chong Ren Zhang is a famous Chinese sculptor and watercolor painter in the20 th century.Most of his watercolor paintings are still life paintings and landscape paintings.Mr.Zhang lived in the era of the opening of the country and the cultural exchange between China and the West,which made his painting style compatible with the bright and clear colors of Western watercolor painting and the inner rhythm of the shape of Oriental image painting.His watercolor still life paintings are unique in style,with impressionistic contrast between warm and cold in color,and unrestrained and capable in brushwork.The treatment of white space in background is full of artistic conception like Chinese painting,which makes people have endless aftertaste.Its material selection is common,close to the daily life of ordinary people,trying to express their feelings for the hometown through depicting these ordinary products.I majored in watercolor painting during my postgraduate study,so this paper takes Mr.Cheng Ren Zhang’s watercolor still life works as the main research object,and analyzes the reasons for the formation of his unique painting style and unique painting language with his artistic process and historical background as the entry point.In addition,this paper expounds Mr.Chong Ren Zhang’s watercolor still life works in the picture position management,the application of painting techniques and other aspects of my inspiration,and combined with my own watercolor still life creation,from the creation of subject matter selection,form selection,picture position arrangement and other aspects of the statement.
